This 6 foot twin-leg lanyard from Miller is part of the BackBiter Tie-Back series. In addition to having snap hooks capable of handling 5,000 pounds and being certified for tie-back operations, the 8798BD/6FTBL also has a special coating that makes it resistant to chemical splash. The BackBiter series allows workers to loop the lifeline around an appropriate anchorage and tie-back to itself. This greatly increases the possible locations a worker can find suitable anchor attachment. The 8798BD/6FTBL lanyard meets the specific requirements for tie-back as well as OSHA 1910.66, 1926.104, 1926.502 and ANSI A10.32, Z359.13 standards.
