The DBI-SALA Protecta Pro Welders full body harness is the perfect choice for our welding customers who aren't looking to spend extra money on fall protection. It's made with a modacrylic over kevlar with polyester webbing that has a char temperature of 700 degrees - ideal for at height welding. This particular version features pass thru chest connections, tongue buckle leg connections, and a lanyard keeper. The Pro Welders is incredibly lightweight, but is as durable as any harness on the market. The kevlar makes it particularly strong and it uses alloy steel with 5,000 lb tensile strength, it's rated to handle a 420 lb. wearer including tools, and it meets the standards of OSHA and ANSI.
