PK Safety Launches GRIT: A Private Label FR Clothing Line

PK Safety Launches GRIT: A Private Label FR Clothing Line

PK Safety, The Worker Safety Specialists™ , has been providing hard working professionals with expertise in top-quality safety products and services for over 70 years. That commitment to customer service continues with the launch of GRIT, our new private label of FR clothing . The gear is made of the highest quality UL Classified materials and backed by a 2-year quality guarantee.

You spoke and we listened. Our customers started demanding high-quality NFPA 2112 UL Classified items delivered quicker than what competitors were offering. So we were determined to find a way to make this happen. With what started as taking customer feedback and complaints about the long delivery delays from some current vendors, PK Safety came up with the solution to manufacture our own products that lived up to the quality, value, and safety standards that we strive for. After seven months of in-depth research, GRIT was born.

The PK Safety GRIT line is designed to be an investment in and for our customers that we plan to pursue to the fullest extent. Extra time was spent to ensure that the GRIT line equals or exceeds the performance specifications of other industry name brands at a great value. Even larger sizes won’t cost the customer anything extra, unlike most workwear companies. PK Safety will begin by offering UL classified flame resistant (FR) clothing items , specifically Henley shirts, bib coveralls, jackets, and hoodies.

In addition to being fire resistant, the gear is breathable, durable, comfortable enough to wear even off the jobsite, and comes in a range of sizes to suit your workers’ needs. All of the GRIT line is manufactured in the Americas and comes with a two-year quality guarantee when you follow manufacturer instructions for care and use.

GRIT Men’s Brown Field Jacket – Duck Canvas Jacket

This is a heavy-duty jacket, but wears comfortably in cold weather with quilt-lined insulation. Double needle stitching and a FR 100% cotton duck canvas help make it one of the more durable jackets around -- perfect for all working conditions.

GRIT Insulated Bib Overalls

No matter the weather, stay dry and warm with our GRIT Duck Bib Overalls. They’re made from a 100% cotton duck canvas material that’s both mobile and durable. And double needle stitching with FR thread means it’s built to last.

GRIT Carpenter Pants - Green Duck Work Pants

Lightweight, but built tough, these pants are made from a 88% cotton / 12% nylon blended material that holds up in rougher working conditions.

GRIT Twill FR Lightweight Shirt - Navy FR Long Sleeve

Rugged enough for the field, yet polished enough for the office, our GRIT Twill Work Shirt delivers a sharp look that also performs.

GRIT FR Henley in Khaki and Gray

Don’t let the soft fabric fool you. Our GRIT Henley Shirt is as durable as it is comfortable, made from 100% flame-resistant interlock cotton. It’s also incredibly breathable, as well as moisture-wicking.

GRIT FR Pullover Hoodie - Navy FR Sweatshirt

Our GRIT Pullover Hoodie is flame resistant, making it perfect for electrical, utility, mining, or oil and gas work. And it also delivers when the temperature drops with a soft fleece-like lining.

GRIT Zip-Up FR Hoodie - Gray FR Sweatshirt

Our GRIT Zip-Up Hoodie is hefty, made from a FR 100% cotton. But its soft fleece-like lining makes it comfortable enough to wear both on and off the job. The very front of the fr hoodie includes a full-length heavy duty brass zipper.

PK Safety is thrilled to announce the GRIT line and with it a continued commitment to and investment in worker safety for years to come.
