This personal fall limiter is an affordable alternative to a shock-absorbing lanyard. The Miller Scorpion series of PFLs (also called self-retracting lifelines or SRLs) provide lightweight fall protection that arrests lifeline roll-out within inches. The Scorpion PFL-7-Z7/9FT is light enough to wear with the housing attached directly to the harness dorsal D-ring, or it can attach overhead for greater versatility and less weight on the worker.
