WatchGas SST1 Hybernation Starter (SST1-HS) is the companion accessory to the
SST1-BS Bump Test Starter — where the SST1-BS initiates bump tests and calibrations in the field, the SST1-HS puts SST1 and SST1E monitors into hibernation mode for storage, shipment, or decommissioning without requiring a return to the docking station.
Hibernation mode suspends monitor operation, pausing sensor consumption and battery drain. For fixed-life SST1 variants (SST1-H-24, SST1-H-36, and their equivalents), hibernation preserves remaining service life while units are in transit or awaiting deployment. A single SST1-HS device can initiate hibernation across the SST1 and SST1E product line without additional hardware. Compatible with the
SST-DOCK touchscreen docking station workflow for fleet-scale operations.
