WatchGas Gas Monitor Calibration Service

$99.00

Description

PK Safety services the full WatchGas SST monitor line with factory-trained technicians in-house. Send us your SST1, SST4 Micro, SST4 Mini, SST4 Pump, or SST5 for calibration and we'll test it, adjust it, and have it back out to you via UPS — no black box, no wondering where your equipment is.

Our flat-rate calibration service covers any WatchGas SST-series portable gas monitor with any combination of the following sensors installed: O2 (oxygen), CO (carbon monoxide), H2S (hydrogen sulfide), LEL (Lower Explosive Level / combustibles), and PID (volatile organic compounds). Calibration of exotic sensors is available upon request — call us at 800.829.9580 for details.

The service includes a calibration certificate for your records, so you have documentation ready for the next audit.

PK Safety also services BW/Honeywell (Factory Authorized), RKI, and RAE Systems monitors — one shop for a mixed fleet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which WatchGas monitors do you calibrate?

PK Safety calibrates the full WatchGas SST portable monitor line: SST1 single-gas (H2S, CO, O2, SO2, H2, NH3, PH3, CH4S), SST4 Micro/Mini/Pump, and SST5. Standard sensor combinations (O2, CO, H2S, LEL, PID) are covered at the flat rate. Exotic sensors are quoted separately — call 800.829.9580.

What does OSHA require for portable gas monitor calibration?

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 (Permit-Required Confined Spaces) requires that the atmosphere of a confined space be tested before entry and that the test equipment be calibrated per manufacturer specifications. OSHA does not mandate a universal calibration interval, but manufacturer guidance and most safety programs specify at minimum a bump test before each use and a full calibration at regular intervals — typically every 3 to 6 months.

How long does WatchGas calibration take?

Ship your monitor to our Alameda, CA service center via UPS. We test, adjust, and return it via UPS — typically same-day out the door once we receive the unit. Call 800.829.9580 for tight turnarounds.

What's included in the calibration service?

Full calibration of any combination of O2, CO, H2S, LEL, and PID sensors on one WatchGas SST monitor, plus a calibration certificate. Exotic sensor calibration, repairs, sensor replacements, and battery replacements are quoted separately.

Can you service a mixed fleet of gas monitors?

Yes. PK Safety services WatchGas SST monitors alongside BW/Honeywell (Factory Authorized), RKI, and RAE Systems monitors in the same facility.
