Intermountain Specialty Gases Demand Flow Regulator is made to attach to canisters of calibration gas. This regulator is nickle plated brass with a C-10 valve type. Actual product may vary slightly from the manufacturer.

Demand Flow regulators are useful when paired with pumped instruments, and calibration stations. The built in pump of a confined space gas detector 'pulls' the required amount of cal gas as needed. With a fixed flow regulator there may be too little or too much calibration gas delivered to the instrument. Neither is a good thing. As a side benefit, you only use as much of that expensive test gas as needed...!
