This 6 ft. Web Positioning Lanyard - Adjustable 1231016 from DBI-SALA is to be used strictly for positioning, and not for fall protection. Without a shock absorber, the sudden stop at the end of a fall could cause severe injury. When your harness is attached to the anchor point, you should not be able to get in a position to fall. For instance, the edge might be on a work platform. The rope lanyard should keep you from reaching that edge. Every DBI-SALA lanyard combines super strength and ease of use without sacrificing safety. All lanyard hardware is proof tested to meet or exceed industry standards. Standard on all DBI-SALA lanyards are patented, user-friendly self locking snap hooks. They allow you to open and close the hook without getting your thumb or fingers in the way even with gloves on.
