Description
The AimSafety PM500-IR multi-gas detector is an advanced, easy-to-use, multi-gas monitor with built-in pump for worker protection and confined space entry in hazardous environments. Measures up to six gases simultaneously, allowing for safe entry into confined spaces and hard-to-reach areas. Standard target gases include carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), oxygen (O2) and combustible gases. Additional gas options include ammonia (NH3), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
When a concentration exceeds safe gas levels, the device alerts the operators of danger with audible, visual, and vibrating alarms. The device shows the gas concentrations in real-time and identifies maximum and minimum concentrations. The settings can be modified via PC software through the
PM Link accessory (sold separately).
