The replacement Bitter Fit Test Solution for the 3M FT-30 Fit Tester. The 3M FT-32 Bitter Fit Test Solution is used in the functional part of an OSHA fit test for dust masks and respirator equipment. This qualitative fit testing ensures worker safety when utilizing a dust mask or similar piece of personal protective equipment (such as an N95 Mask). As an integral part of the FT-30 Qualitative Fit Test from 3M, the FT 32 Solution is utilized with a nebulizer (FT-13) to check that there is an appropriate face-to-respirator seal and that your protective breathing apparatus is fully functioning with each individual worker. The fit test should be performed after an initial sensitivity test with the FT-31 Bitter Test Solution.
