NIOSH Items: We only sell brand new respirators, filters, and dust masks from US based manufacturers. Since it can be difficult to determine if a respirator or mask has been used or even just tried on, for the protection of our customers, we do not accept NIOSH returns.

The 3M 60923 combination cartridge is intended for use in a variety of applications including petrochemical, laboratories, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing. The 60923 combines an organic vapor/acid gas cartridge with a P100 HEPA filter. The activated charcoal in the cartridge is specially treated to absorb both organic vapors (solvent vapors for instance) and acid gases (such as fumes from acid core solder). Then the P100 HEPA filter traps microscopic particles (99.9% greater than .3 microns in size) to keep out things like lead fumes. A combination cartridge has the advantage of combining a filter and a cartridge, but we generally let people know that the breathing resistance is increased. This means that pulling air through the assembly is harder than either the cartridge or filter alone. Something good to keep in mind when planning your work. When your mask is properly fitted, the cartridge asembly helps to protect your lungs from certain organic vapors, chlorine (bleach), hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide (escape only) or hydrogen fluoride and particulates at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. Do not use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Sold in a pouch of 1 pair. Fits both the 6000 and 7500 masks.
