A rope clamp and ascender, the RESCUCENDER is designed for rescue and work positioning by the rope access experts at Petzl. Easily fixed to any point of the line with the clamp mechanism, a locking pin prevents accidental disengagements, requiring two separate actions to disengage it, preventing accidents. Utilize the RESCUCENDER as a progressive capture device, for haulage or for belay; it's an incredibly versatile tool. Designed for use with single ropes, from 9 to 13mm in diameter, the device fits easily on the rope, clamping when a load is applied. If you overload the cam it allows the rope to slip through, preventing damage or impact forces. The specially curved design allows the rope to pass through smoothly, giving you complete control. Built from milled (not cast) parts the RESCUCENDER is a high strength piece of kit, rated to 26kN.
