The Nova 2000 Abrasive Blasting helmet kit from Allegro provides a single worker with a complete low pressure respiratory protection solution - right out of the box. Using this helmet allows workers with facial hair and those wearing prescription safety glasses to effectively seal out contaminated air. With this constant flow airline kit we combine a 3/4HP pump, hose and Helmet. This kit is an effective way to offer supplied air respiratory protection for a wide variety of abrasive blasting applications. A single worker can sand or media blast while receiving air from a source independent of the ambient area. The blast helmet supplies filtered air across the entire head. The lens on the helmet is rated for impact eye protection, so safety glasses are not required, but would not be a bad idea to wear as well.
