Description
Protect your team from invisible dangers. The BW Flex4 Gas Detector keeps workers safe by continuously monitoring up to four hazardous gases—combustible gases, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon monoxide—alerting them instantly when levels exceed safe limits. With a bright light, vibration, and loud 95-decibel alarm, your crew won't miss a warning. The catalytic bead LEL sensor detects hydrogen and acetylene that infrared sensors miss, while a fine filter extends sensor life. Compact and lightweight enough for all-day wear, yet rugged enough for the toughest job sites. One charge powers up to 15 hours of continuous protection.
This is a "Made to Order" product that cannot be exchanged and is non-returnable. If you have any questions please call Customer Service at 800-829-9580.
The Honeywell BW Flex choice of sensors:
- %LEL(F) - catalytic
- Oxygen (O2)
- Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
- Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- Sulfur Dioxide (SO2)
Caution: The catalytic LEL sensor used in Honeywell BW Flex will run an average of 15 hours before needing a charge. For applications that will not detect Hydrogen or Acetylene and runs up to 60 days without needing a charge, check out the
BW Flex4 with the infrared type LEL sensor.
A catalytic bead LEL will draw more power, is susceptible to poisons that affect sensor life and needs a minimum amount of oxygen to function. The main advantage compared to the
BW Flex4 with the LEL Infrared sensor is that catalytic bead LEL
will detect Hydrogen and Acetylene. A fine filter is used on the catalytic bead LEL to prolong it’s life. The catalytic bead LEL sensors is also used in the MicroClip
XL and
X3. A Flex with a cat bead sensor will run an average of 15 hours before needing a charge.
Key Features:
- Real-time gas readings at a glance
- Simultaneous monitoring of up to five gas hazards
- Reliable. 2 months of battery runtime on a 4.5-hour charge — and up to 4 months if you turn off the detector at the end of each shift. No daily charging, no unexpected downtime.
- Accurate. Standard catalytic LEL sensors for complete protection over the range of traditional applications.
- Responsive. 1 Series sensors respond to dangerous gas levels in seconds, even in harsh temperatures. (for increased safety and uptime)
- Easy to use, no expertise required
- Small, lightweight and wearable.
- One-button operation.
- Easy to Manage
- IntelliFlash green light indicates the detector is in compliance; amber light indicates the need for maintenance.
- Compatible with
IntelliDoX instrument management and Honeywell Safety Suite, using Bluetooth for wireless configuration.
- Extreme ingress protection for total confidence - stands up to dust and immersion in water.
Standard Package Contents:
- Detector complete with sensors, stainless steel alligator clip, concussion-proof housing and built-in rechargeable battery
- Calibration/test cap and hose
- USB charging cable
- Quick Start Guide
Note: Remember to calibrate every six months and regularly perform bump tests.
