Austin Air HealthMate, but it has an extra layer of filtration. The Bedroom Machine has a 5-stage filter compared to the 4 stage filter that is in the HealthMate. This extra stage in the Bedroom Machine is the military-grade high efficiency gas adsorption (HEGA) filter for added protection against chemicals, gases, and VOCs. That makes the Bedroom Machine the ultimate solution for the most vulnerable populations and the most contaminated environments.
