It features an anti-panic system that, whenever the user pulls the handle too hard, it stops the fall. This feature greatly reduces the risk of a mishap due to incorrect installation of the device's rope. Another big plus with Petzl is that installation is incredibly simplified and can be performed quickly. The descender's multi-function handle is very easy to use, allowing workers to position without the need for tie off at a work station. Using the ergonomic handle, you not only descent, but make short rope ascents. If a worker experiences an involuntary action, he can effortlessly snap the handle back into the lock position.
