The Memphis 9378T 18 in. Knit Sleeve is made of DuPont Kevlar brand fiber. Double ply provides an added layer of protection from cuts and burns. It functions as a cut resistant arm protector. These come in a pack of 10. The Memphis Knit Sleeve will not melt, ignite, or conduct electricity. It features a stretch fabric with a thumb slot. It's meant to be worn in conjunction with cut resistant gloves, or may be worn alone. When those zombies come for you let them sink their teeth into these babies, not your skin beneath.
You have to ask how many people would still be breathing on the Walking Dead if they thought ahead and had these on!
I walk our neighbor's dogs, one of which is a young puppy that likes to claw with her front feet. This has result in numerous scratches and small injuries to my wrists and the backs of my hands. I take blood thinners so that I bleed profusely from even a scratch. Since I have started using these sleeve protectors, I have not had a single scratch from this hyper-active puppy.
Great product, I use these sleeves in my wood and metal work shop to protect my skin from scraping and burning. I am on lots of medication that causes me to scratch and bleed easily so it saves bloody work cleanup and I don't need so many bandages...Love them Ken
After getting a severe, debilitating rash on arms due to chemicals used in tire building, protection was needed. With thumb hole, sleeve stays in place, protects arms, and is washable, durable. Rash is gone, and sleeves are worn every day. Lightweight, Durable.
MY husband loves this sleeve because it protects his arms. He use to come home with cuts and scratches on his arms almost daily. I wish the knit end of the hand section of the sleeve didn't stretch so much. It gets caught on things and after a few wearings it is stretched to much.
They protect my husbands arms from cuts and scratches.
The part of the sleeve that circles the hand stretches out of shape and can get caught on items. I have to sew bias tape arround each sleeve at the hand end to prevent this problem.
