The Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve connects the worker to the system, automatically follows the user during the climb and locks onto the cable in the event of a fall, allowing the user to regain their footing. Designed for ease of use, economy and versatility. The Cable Sleeve includes a steel carabiner and dual locking system. It fits 3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter 1x7 or 7x19 solid core cable. Many European systems imported to the US are using the 5/16 in. diameter cable. This is an economy unit, so please note that when descending the ladder it is necessary to apply some pressure on the cable grip control arm. This allows the cable to move through the device. Without this action, the device will stay in place due to the design.
