The Sealed-Blok Self-Retracting Lifeline from DBI-SALA is built with a durable galvanized steel lifeline and a sealed aluminum housing for maximum protection from the elements. This unit is recommended for the tough and dirty service seen in the oil and gas industry. The RSQ built-in rescue system allows for simple hassle-free lowering of the user after a fall has been arrested, lowering them gently to the next surface.
Primary Use: Providing fall protection while working at heights, this SRL extends 50 ft. allowing you a long range freedom of movement while you work on site.

How To Use It: The RSQ system can be easily switched on and off. Set to 'off', pointing at the red indicator the SRL will function as a standard fall arrest device. Stopping a fall only. Should you set the RSQ system to the 'on' position, once a fall has been arrested a centrifugal break beings to lower the user, slowly but surely, to the next surface below. Avoiding the need for complicated rescue systems. You even have the option of switching to "rescue" mode after arresting a fall, and DBI-SALA provide tools to let you do this even if the unit is out of reach.
