Wash and Wear Tests Prove GRIT FR Clothing Holds Up

Chris Massey, PK Safety's Vice President of Sales, put our  GRIT FR workwear to the test — asking numerous folks to wear the garments multiple times, running the clothing through his own washer and dryer, and then collecting lint samples.

So far, all are holding up great.

"I have personally worn some of these items outside of work and have not had any issues," he said. "The pieces are comfortable, fit true to size, and the inside tags are soft and didn't cause me any discomfort."

Each of the following pieces went through a wash time of 54 minutes, and then dried for 45 minutes.

Here are his observations and feedback for the following items:

• Held up very well

• Zipper great


4. GRIT Pullover Hoodie Navy
   • Little lint - 1^st wash & dry / 2^nd and 3^rd - zero
   • Color is still great
   • Soft and comfortable feel
   • Held up very well
   • Grit tag solid


5. GRIT Carpenter Pants Green Duck
• Very little lint -1^st wash & dry / 2^nd and 3^rd - zero
• Color is still great
• Soft and comfortable feel
• Zipper and button look great


6. GRIT Field Jacket Brown Duck & GRIT Bib Overalls Brown Duck
• Zero lint - 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd - wash & dry
• Color is still great
• No texture change
• Held up very well
• Flexible and cozy feel
• Zippers and buttons held up very good
