Petzl Swivel P58

The Petzl Swivel P58 helps your rope access and confined space workers make sure they don't get their lines twisted and tangled when turning. Connecting a lifeline to a harness, it makes your work not only more comfortable, but safer as well. And even though the swivel itself is simple, it removes a complicated and inconvenient workplace hazard. Plus it's lighter than an apple, but still has a very high breaking strength (23kN for the small, 36kN for the large). The P58 is a popular item for many of our customers working as roofers, arborists, construction workers, and tower climbers. But the Petzl swivel can be useful for just about anyone working rope access who doesn't like their line getting twisted. The main difference between the two sizes is the load separation. The lighter, more compact P58-S is perfectly suitable for one-person loads. The larger P58-L is actually designed for two-person loads and allows for as many as three connectors to be attached. Both swivels feature a maintenance-free sealed ball bearing that provides you with excellent performance and reliability.
