Isobutylene is the standard calibration gas used for RAE Systems PID instruments. The 100 ppm concentration is recommended for the MiniRAE 3000, MultiRAE Plus, and EntryRAE monitors. The 10ppm version is specific to the ppbRAE instrument. Both are sold in a 34 liter steel cylinder with the balance of the cylinder containing air. The cylinder has a male thread fitting (CGA-600), and uses either a fixed flow regulator or demand flow regulator with female threads. The shelf life is 24 months.
