Allegro 9910-D Tyvek Airline Hood Assembly

The Allegro 9910-D is a maintenance-free Tyvek hood assembly with a low-pressure air flow adapter and suspension. This respirator hood is intended for use with a low-pressure Grade D air supply. Because of the comfort and light weight of the unit it's very popular for use in spray painting or insulation foam applications. The positive pressure allows an east fit with even with a beard or other facial hair so just about any worker can use this product. The hood design integrates the breathing tube and head suspension completely. With the hood assembly constructed in a one piece, this eliminates the need for decontamination of the breathing tube or replacement parts. The entire hood assembly is disposed of after it becomes worn out or contaminated through use.The poly-coated DuPont Tyvek is flexible, splash resistant and seals in the air flow. The breathing tube has a multi-layer sound dampening system made of foam extending up inside the hood. This helps prevent the tube from being crushed or twisted during use. The hose opening inside the disposable hood directs air down across the lens, which minimizes fogging and brings fresh air to the breathing area. The window provides a wide field of vision and its generous size makes it perfect for workers with beards or goggles. A generous Tyvek bib offers splash protection and can be tucked into a disposable suit, where it directs the excess air to the body. The one-piece suspension offers easy adjustment with a hook and loop closure and an absorbent foam headband. NIOSH approved.
