Description

The V2G Goggles from Pyramex are versatile eyewear than can be worn both indoors and out. Based on the very popular Venture II Safety Glasses, the V2G Goggles add foam padding to form a nearly perfect seal. This helps keep out dust and other airborne particles. The lenses are treated to prevent fogging and to self-seal small scratches. An adjustable elastic headband keeps them steady on the face. The lenses provide 99 percent protection against harmful UV rays. For even greater anti-fog characteristics, consider the Pyramex I-Force Glasses. Exceeds ANSI Z87.1-2003 high impact standards. Sold by the pair.

Available Lens Options:
GB1820ST Grey (for sun)

    Good, but Not Airtight

Published by Grrr on Sep 8th 2015

As safety glasses, it seems like these should work fine. I got them for Burning Man dust storms, because they were recommended, and they advertised being nearly airtight. But there are gaps all around where the glasses touch my face, and dust comes in through all the gaps. They are far from airtight, and I wouldn't recommend them for this purpose.

The V2G googles are by far the best I have worn. I use these for various activities including cycle riding. Outstanding price. Fast service.

    Glasses

Wish they were a bit larger to fit over my prescription glasses. Really can't use them. Would have been a nice tight fit to keep dust and particles out but they wouldn't give room for my prescription glasses.

Well I'm giving these goggles two stars cause they do fog up and they scratch easily. I don't wear them anymore.

    Pros:
    Foam was nice

    Cons:
    Fogging up
