MCR Memphis 1411A Double Leather Palm Work Glove (12 pairs)

The Memphis 1411A Double Leather Palm Work Glove is made with select shoulder cowhide leather. What makes this glove a little different is an extra layer of leather on the palm, offering extra protection in critical wear areas. This is particularly good for jobs involving heavy abrasion across the palm, such as handling rebar or pulling cable. The 1411A Glove is a variation on the Memphis 1400A Glove, and offers all the same features with the added patch of leather sewn onto the palm. This means the glove can handle up to twice the wear in a central area. This answers the problem of the palm wearing out before the rest of the glove, though it does affect the flexibility of the glove for more general tasks. The Select Shoulder grade of leather is denser and longer wearing than most commonly available styles. Leather that is dense has a more tightly packed web of interlinking fibers, which make the glove more resistant to abrasion, in turn making the glove last longer on the job. The 1411A Glove uses the Gunn Cut style. This features a shirred elastic back for a good fit across the back of the glove, leather across the knuckles, thumb and forefinger, fingertips, with a 2 1/2 inch plasticized safety cuff.
