This Klein wire-pulling Chicago Grip is for extra high-strength cables, messenger, and guy strand. This model 1628-17 fits cables with diameter from 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. Double "V" grooves provide four points of contact to reduce the chance for slipping. This action also helps provide proper alignment of wire and cable within the jaws. Made in the USA
