The Nano-Lok 3101219 is a single-leg self-retracting lifeline that attaches to your harness with a steel snap hook and to your structure with a big steel rebar hook. Our customers love the fact that this SRL can be switched quickly between different users' harnesses on site. Like all of the 30+ SRLs in the Nano-Lok line, this is an extremely lightweight SRL. It weighs just over three and a half pounds. While the steel snap hook provides a simple harness attachment method, and the rebar hook has a gate opening of 2 1/2 inches, so connections to the structure are convenient as well. DBI-SALA's Nano-Lok SRLs are compact, versatile, and safe. They attach directly to most harnesses, with no separate carabiner required. Nano-Loks are also cost-effective. This SRL costs about the same as shock-absorbing lanyards, while providing enhanced fall protection. And Nano-Loks have a weight capacity of 420 pounds, allowing the user the highest total capacity in its class. Falling is never fun, but the Nano-Lok's quick-activating arrestor generally stops a fall within 24 inches. This is much quicker than traditional shock-absorbing lanyards, which require 18 feet. of clearance. You get reduced fall distances, less force on your body, and a higher chance for self-rescue. After a fall, the integrated shock absorber offers a visual indication of the fall, so you'll never risk mistakenly using equipment that needs to be taken out of service. While designing the Nano-Lok for comfort and versatility, DBI-SALA did not overlook safety. The Nano-Lok meets or exceeds industry standards: OSHA 1926.502, 1910.66; ANSI Z359-2007 & A10.32.
