It provides optimal mobility to the user and helps reduce trip fall hazards and dragging or snagging by expanding to 6 ft (1.8 m) when taut and automatically contracting to 4.5 ft (1.4 m) in reaction to the worker’s movements. The trusted core of the 3M DBI-SALA Shock Absorbing Lanyard begins to extend and absorb energy if subjected to a fall and limits the fall arrest forces to safe levels.
